The Red Poppy By Patrick

The night before the war.
The night before the war Jim wrote a letter to his family but he didn’t write that much because there wasn’t anything happening that much. He wrote his letter to his mum and his sister Edith who has a pet cat.
Jim didn’t even mention all of the yucky things he saw.

Jim and a couple of soldiers were marching silently to the trenches. It was 5:30 and the men’s were waiting silently in the trenches.A 10 minutes later the battle field got silent and they were confused.

6:18 they got ready because they heard some noise. 2 Minute later they saw the enemies shoot a bullet and they got ready FIRE they fired and fired a humongous sound made Jim jump with a fright.

My Reflection On The Red Poppy

This is my comment on freeze frames. During the freeze frames I was partners with Oh S'mar, San Tat, Cyprus & Halaiano. We were acting like people from the war like Jim & Karl. I was acting as Jim giving a poppy to San Tat and San Tat was Karl.
I was partners with San Tat on the freeze frame with San Tat and San Tat was Karl that was wounded.
I am still learning to keep still for our still image.

Reviewing Somebody Else’s Artwork By Patrick

Reviewing Somebody Else’s Artwork

Have a look at the artwork’s in classroom.
Choose one which is your favourite to critique.

Please be honest, don’t just choose your best friend’s for friendship sake, choose someone’s artwork that shows quality, contrast, boldness and originality

Whose artwork do you like the most?
I liked Thomas’s art work because he used contrasting colours.

Why did you choose this person’s artwork?
Because how he used his colours wisely for his background.

What would you do next time to ensure your artwork is just as good?
To use my colours wisely like orange t-shirt and yellow face.

If you were going to give this person a rating out of ten what would you give it and why?
10/10  because he actually took his art work serious and thought about his colours.

My Reflection On My Andy Warhol Portrait By Patrick

Reflecting on my Andy Warhol themed portrait
1. Are you pleased with your Andy Warhol themed portrait? why / why not?
Yes because I took my time on it and it looks good.

2. What did you find easy when you created your portrait?
The thing that I found easy was using the vivid to trace over my pencil sketch.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your portrait? -think about tracing round your face, outlining your face using a black marker pen, dabbing areas using the dye, dying the background.
The thing that was tricky was tracing my black and white photocopied photo.
4. Who / What helped you when you were creating your portrait?
The material that helped me were all of the examples from Miss Paton.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: tracing around your face, features on your face, dabbing the dye colours, colour choice, photograph, time management skills.
I would try doing my background and face bright and use contrasting colours such as red background and green face.

6. What frustrated you when you created your Andy Warhol themed art work?
All the smudges because I had to start all over again and again.
