My Worst Mistake I have Ever Done

The worst mistake I have ever done is steal chocolate from my mum and I’m going to tell all about it.

The worst mistake I have ever done is sneaking two chocolate from my mom's purse. It was a block dairy milk chocolate, it looked delicious, the problem was that I was really hungry and had nothing to eat, so I went for it I went to sneak the chocolate but the problem was that my mom's purse was in the centre of her arm, I didn’t care because I was really hungry, sneaked the funny thing is that she didn’t know. I munched on the whole chocolate bar. Yummmy......

There was one more block of chocolate left, my mouth was drooling to eat it but I felt guilty about it I looked at my mum and she was searching through the bag for the chocolate but couldn’t find it. It was pretty funny that she failed to find it. I was ready to face the consequences, so I returned the last piece of chocolate. I had no consequence all she did was say “Thank you”.

I felt better after don't know why but I felt really happy that I returned it

Birthday (food)

Food

Birthdays are really traditional to people. Everybody can celebrate birthdays because it’s celebrating the day the person was born. I was born on May the 5th 2003 so, I celebrate my birthday on May the 5th every year. This is what my family does to celebrate my birthday.

Birthdays are really traditional in my family because we celebrate the day that person was born. We have a really big celebration. We always have delicious barbecue chicken, sausage, and some cake. My mum always use dark and light soya sauce because she thinks it will bring all the flavour out. We always forget to invite our relatives but we always have someone to tell us.

One of my favourite part of my birthday is having cake, my favourite cakes are strawberry with chocolate coating and coffee cake. I have always had strawberry cake with chocolate coating for most of my birthdays. I always go first to get it because I am the birthday boy.

If you have a birthday happening and someone puts you down when you were born it doesn't matter what they think its your birthday be proud. My favourite thing I like to do during my birthday is spend a lot of time with my family.

Spongebob is a great movie for kids because it has funny comedy, weird accents and funny characters my favourite is Patrick because he is weird and funny.

Spongebob has a great sense of humor but can become real weird. Patrick is my favourite character because he has nothing to really do and can be funny and do stupid things. Squidward has no sense of humour he hates his neighbours and can be thankful. Gary can be quiet and annoying but can be helpful.

The series is on Nickelodeon weekdays at 6:30am til 7:00am hope you enjoy it.

“Hey!” I yell in anger,

“I think it is a mini skytower” Matarake suggests.

“Mum what is it?” asks Kata.

“Can’t tell you” says Mum “Wait until Christmas OK!”

“Ok” we all replied.

Christmas finally came.  “Mum, can we open the tall box” says Patrick in excitement. It was Patrick’s lucky baseball bat autographed by Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth was a legend in playing baseball. Patrick was so happy that he signed his lucky baseball bat.

I remember as if it was yesterday when my dad told me and my brothers that we can go and watch the Blues vs Chiefs live on a Saturday night. Well that was a very special day to me because it was my birthday. I had played at Eden Park playing against team called Western Marist. They were a really good team because they knew the basics really well. We waited to hear who was the player of the day, and it was Jackson (my team) and Brock (Western Marist). I felt like I didn’t play my best, but when I got back home my dad said I played well. Now I feel like I played a good game!

Rugby Explanation

Rugby

Rugby is a game that everybody can play. You can become fit and improve your skills by playing this game. For me I think that rugby is my ‘thing’ in life. I play for the Auckland University Rugby Football Club, we have lost plenty of games but we tried. In our season we have 1 more game left and were gonna give all we have.

The rules in attacking are that you can’t fend the opponent in the face and neck. If you do you will get a yellow card and be sitting in the bench for quite a while. When you're defending you can’t do shoulder charges and high tackles, you have to tackle below the nipples, and when there’s a ruck you can't come in from the sides, you have to come right through the middle, but in rugby we call it the gate.

There you know the rules. My favourite rugby player is Ma’a Nonu and my favourite team is the Blues. Why do I like Ma’a Nonu? Ma’a Nonu has great techniques in playing rugby, and is great at setting up tries. He plays for the Blues in the Super Fifteen Tournaments and plays for the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup.

I hope you have learnt how to play rugby. Rugby is a friendly game. Hope you have learnt the rules in rugby. It is my favourite sport, and Ma’a is my favourite player.

My Time At The Library By Patrick

On Thursday the 9th of April Panmure Bridge room 6 went to the Panmure Community library. First we had to sit in a half circle of boy and a half circle of girls.

Next they explained us their names they were Tau, Mama Piri from the museum and Ruth the ordinary librarian.

Finally we had some fun, we coloured in some pictures and made our own hula hula with our own patterns.

My favourite part was doing the hula hula because I used most of my imagination on that.
